We have been to Lykia World for the last 5 years. On our first trip there I was so impressed with just about everything, the food, the location, the activities and most importantly the staff who made our stay so memorable that I cried when we left!!!!
We met a family there which we have kept in touch with since and they agreed it was a fantastic place......
A very nice place. I was a bit scared by the recent comments on worsened service, dirty dishes, mosquito and wasps etc. but those appeared not to be true in my case (maybe I was lucky enough though.
Upon arrival we were very positively surprised - new airport in Dalaman, opened just this summer (2006). Large, spacious building, no hassle.
Lykia World is a wonderful complex. If you are a 'joiner' there's loads to do, but if you prefer to opt out, you can seek quieter pool areas and be left alone.
The kids area is the size of a small village at the top end of the complex and has everything in it, including many pools. The remaining pools are beautifully kept and there were always spare sunbeds, which were the most luxurious I've ever laid on!
Over the next 18 months I am going to transform my body shape and loose weight in a healthy maintainable way. Without going to a slimming group and without cutting out essential food groups. My aim is to shed 5 stone and drop 3-4 dress sizes.
