We have been to Lykia World for the last 5 years. On our first trip there I was so impressed with just about everything, the food, the location, the activities and most importantly the staff who made our stay so memorable that I cried when we left!!!!
We met a family there which we have kept in touch with since and they agreed it was a fantastic place......

however, although we have always had a great time there we have noticed how the bar staff in particular don't really seem to care about the service they give anymore. On saying that, they do seem to receive quite a bit of abuse from drunken teenagers (usually Brits) that I'm not really surprised they get fed up. When we first went in 2002 it seemed a really great place for everyone (even with all the steps, the only exercise I got while I was there), there was no trouble or anything like that, everyone was really friendly. But in 2005 I had a bit of an altercation with a prat from London who made me feel really uncomfortable for the rest of my hoilday, and it was the first time I realised that there didn't appear to be any security if anything should ever happen.
On saying that, I still enjoyed myself this year but to be honest I think we have seen it at its best, sadly.
I think if you haven't been before you can have a great time and the speciality restaurants are fabulous although you do have to pay a supplement for those, our favourite ones were the Mandarin and Neptune, both superb food and service.
The animation team work extremely hard and if you have young children they really know how to keep them amused. I have teenagers that are still finding their identity at the moment but they still managed to make friends.
