Dress Code

Dress Code at LykiaWorld

I spend lots of time on the phone answering questions 1 what that seems to regulary come up is

"I am visiting Lykia World and could you advise me on what to wear on a evening"

This is my opinion Lykia World is not a cheap holiday it is not full of beer swiging lager louts (I am often one of these myself) but everything has its place.

Day time is swimwear
Lunch you must be dressed no swimwear in resteraunts so I advise cover ups or dresses and for men shorts and t-shirts

Evening there is no strict dress code but I wouldn’t be comfortable going in sports wear I would say smart – casual

Women Skirts, trousers or dresses
Men Trousers, Jeans and shirts

If you enjoy dressing up this is the place to do it.

Lykia World have gala evenings which have normally been red & white night
black & white night

Kids

Kids at Lykia World

Lykia World will be the holiday that your kids will talk about for years to come.
Whatever their ages there will be plenty on offer

Below are a few of the activities children are able to take part
Football
Tennis
Golf
Archery
Wall Climbing
Bannana Boats
Jet Ski’s
Ringo’s
Judo
Art & Crafts
Belly Dancing
Cinema
Swimming
Pool Games
Table Tennis
Bikes

And there are probably more that I cannot remember.
Not all activities are free of charge but when children do the activities throught the clubs they are very reasonbly prices

The Lykia World Animation team are excellent and although my own kids are young all the teenagers there seemed to be having a great time and the staff were very much on there level.

This is very much a childrens holiday the only thing you will have to worry about is saving up to take them back as all they will do is talk about their holiday untill its time to go back again

Currency

Which Currency to Take

Every week I have people contacting we concerned about which currency is best to take.

This is my own personal view and please do not blame me for any fluctuation in currency prices it is only my opinion.

Lykia World is mainly money free meaning all drinks taken at the many bars will be added to your room card this applies also to the following

Drinks at bars
Sports Lessons
Watersports
Diving
Excursions
Kids T-shirts etc at kids club
Thalasso Centre

Lykia World also has shops onsite these shops will take cash only or for more expensive purchases credit/debit cards

I always take Euro’s with a small ammount of Lira for Olu Deniz & the market both of these will accept Euro’s but I feel you get a better price with the Lira

At the end of your stay Reception will check you out and allow you to settle your bill they will print off a full list of all transactions including mini bar in your room everything will be itemised.
You can settle your bill with either credit/debit card or cash whitchever you prefer.

For guests on a budget whilst there and are concerned with hom much is being spent you could pay your bill every few days so that it is not such a big shock at the end.

I have 3 children who are 8,6,5 our last bill for 2 weeks and we dont really watch what we are spending and we do use the mini bar on a daily basis was aprox 500 euro’s.
