Fozard Family December 2010

After visiting Lykia World we have honestly been spoilt and don’t feel we could return to our previous 3 star appartments in Tenerife, Greece, Spain etc so we spent 3 weeks looking into lots of different options.

So on the 3rd December 2010 we fly to Barbados and board the P & O Ventura on a 15 night cruise, joining us are our 3 children, my parents and also our friends and their 2 boys so 11 of us in total.

We are all eagerly awaiting our 1st cruise looking forward to the lavish food and getting dressed up in gowns and tuxedo’s.

I personaly think we have bagged ourselves a bargain and the iteniary is fabulous.

So no doubt I will have lots to say about this over the next few months. and may even create a new category which may turn into its own little site, if anybody else has been or is going on Ventura drop me a line or feel free to write a review / comment.

Not all activities are free of charge but when children do the activities throught the clubs they are very reasonbly prices

The Lykia World Animation team are excellent and although my own kids are young all the teenagers there seemed to be having a great time and the staff were very much on there level.

This is very much a childrens holiday the only thing you will have to worry about is saving up to take them back as all they will do is talk about their holiday untill its time to go back again

 Mt. Babadag (1970m) offers the best and safest paragliding site in Europe, if not the world.

Anyone, who doesnt have any idea about Paragliding, can have their first experience of Tandem Paragliding Flight with Escape Adventures in Lykia World Oludeniz.

Tandem flights are the easiest and safest way to experience the magic of soaring. Unlike learning to fly solo, Tandem Flights require only a 10 minutes briefing before you are airborne for the first time! The flight will last between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on weather conditions. Some passengers may just want a thrilling flight, and we can do that also. Just ask for an extreme flight, and if it is safe to do so, your flight instructor will give you an acrobatic experience you will never forget! We are proud to see some of our tandem passengers later in Babadag with their own glides!

A tandem flight from Babadag gives you an excellent chance to experience the exite of free-flight. The beauty of Oludeniz and Fethiye from the air is one of the greatest site of Turkey. Over a mile above the turquoise sea, stunning views of the unique scene will take you inside of the sense of freedom. For some, there is even a chance to fly the glider if the conditions are suitable. Escape Professional Pilots have flown more than 20,000 tandem flights without any injury. Anyone under 110 kg can fly tandem, you only need to be able to jog about 10 meters.
